NJDAR is blessed with a number of historic properties. Some are owned by a specific chapter, while other chapters and the New Jersey State Society work to maintain additional properties.

We are proud of the work our chapter members are doing to preserve these extraordinary rooms and buildings, and believe their efforts are creating a priceless gift for future generations. One property, the Isaac Watson House, in Hamilton, NJ, serves as NJDAR headquarters.

In addition, NJDAR sponsors and maintains the New Jersey Room in Memorial Continental Hall in Washington, DC, as well as the New Jersey Cottage at the Tamassee DAR School in South Carolina.
